When Dallin and I returned from last week's aforementioned birthday lunch and shopping trip, the person most excited to see us was his three-year-old little brother, Jackson. The reason: Among Dallin's new toys were LEGO-ish (I don't know the brand name) Mario and Luigi figures, and Jackson is currently obsessed with all things Mario.
Dallin confided to me that it was all part of his plan. Jackson has, apparently, also been getting into Dallin's LEGO sets and playing with them, so this was a sort of peace offering, as well as a way of keeping Jackson out of his room.
Smart kid, that one.
