Day 342: Checkmate
Last night, Jackson surprised me by asking if I'd like to play a game of chess with him. I didn't expect a four-year-old to be interested in chess, but still I accepted his offer.
What followed was much more akin to Calvin and Hobbes playing "Calvinball" than chess, as Jackson made up his own rules and, among other moves, took out my king, queen, and bishop in one fell swoop.
