Day 95: My Dinner with Jenna 2012

My niece Jenna turned nine years old Monday, and since the third-grader has the week off from school for spring break, I picked her up and took her out to lunch today for our annual birthday outing.


A girl after my own heart, she picked Wendy's, where we enjoyed a good meal together. Afterward, I took her to the store so that she could pick out her own present, as per my agreement with her and the other Munchkins. She selected a Barbie video game for her Nintendo DS, which she received for Christmas a few months ago.

I enjoyed getting to spend some time with my niece. Happy birthday, kiddo!
